PORTFOLIO

ARCH HANDS

The photographic art project Arch Hands was initiated back in 2015. The book, which was
published in 2019, is the result of several years of documenting archaeological work
process by the danish photographer and archaeologist Henrik Brahe.

As an artist, Henrik Brahe is at the forefront of visually recording archaeological fieldwork.

His work has a mesmerising quality, capturing often mundane moments with drama, chronicling

the working day of the local staff. The men and their hands behind the scenes.

This is a small selection of the photographic work which
represents the series Arch Hands. Several of the photos have been exhibited nationally and
internationally. Latest in 2023 in Porto, Portugal, at the photographic gallery, Mira Forum.
